Code for diffusion on the surface of a sphere

Greetings all!
My problem is quite simple: I want to solve the diffusion equation on the SURFACE OF A SPHERE. There is no flux in nor out of the sphere (this is just 2-D, as in, just the surface of the sphere). What I really want to solve is the diffusion -convection-reaction equation on the surface of the sphere, but if you have code for solving just the diffusion part, that's a start. I do have a diffusion-convection solver, but it's on a plane. All I want to happen is wrap this plane around a ball. Thank you all very much. |
