Tetrahedral geometry

Default Tetrahedral geometry

I'm working on 3d LES FV code for NS. I've already made a fine solver for structured grid, and now my task is to do the code for tetrahedral elements (unstructured grid). And now i'm facing the problem of calculating geometry properties of a tetrahedra. I know that many people already did it b4, so i hope you can help me with links on computational geometry or good advices.

Dear Dr. Nick,

You could refer to the book by Hirsch, which gives the area normal and volume computations for different elements

Ferziger/Peric page 224 (1st edition) should be give some ideas.
