May I know what should be the boundary condition for a cylinder in free stream in an o-grid?
I wonder if this is correct: flow is coming from left to right fixed inlet velocity for outer mesh on left half of o-grid assign du/dn and dv/dn for outer mesh on right half of o-grid no slip velocity for mesh next to cylinder surface dp/dn=0 on all edges except that at right half of o-grid, p=0 (equal to fixing outlet pressure) Hope someone can give me some help. Thank you. |

Sounds reasonble.
Dont forget to test the result sensitivity to your BC locations. |

what about boundary conditions on symetrical airfoil in O-grid, is that the same as cylinder?
