Hi there, I am trying to find the document listed below but I can't find it. I also tried the website gnarly.lanl.gov/Home.html but it seems not exsisting. Can anyone help me? Also, how can I actually find the source code? I am a ph.d. student at cranfield working on droplet impact and Id like to take a look at the nasa algorithm.
Thanks a lot, simone Torrey, M.D., Cloutman, L.D., Mjolsness, R.C., and Hirt, C.W., "NASA-VOF2D: A Computer Program for Incompressible Flows with Free Surfaces," Los Alamos National Laboratory report LA-10612-MS, 1985. |

I do not have the report. I know the source code is in the public domain and is given in the report. I have the source code. If you want it, post your email address. You can save time to type it. The report is old and is usually stored in the microfiche and check your library. Most universities may have it.
One thing I can not understand is that the NASA-VOF code is based on the very old theory. I gave the code to many people and I do not know why they want to use it. A lots of new and good theoris are developed since then. Halim |
