I know how to apply the convective operator to a vector field: http://mathworld.wolfram.com/ConvectiveOperator.html
But I need to apply this operator to a scalar field (temperature). Anyone has a suggestion? |

Look at the continuity equation it shows convective operator to density scalar field.
