I'm studying for my CFD final and I need to memorize all the schemes used in finite difference methods.
I'd like a summary overview of the finite difference schemes for parabolic, elliptic and hyperbolic PDEs, where I can, at a glance, see the stencils and the formulas. Is there such thing?

There is an infinite number of finite difference method.

One can use Taylor series in order to build any scheme of different order and type (upwind, centered, downwind) It is easy algebra, and essential to understand in order to master finite difference.

One of the main strenght of finite difference methot is that it is easy to enrich, but at the cost of requiring very specific grid.

I like the Ferziger / Peric book.

In my opinion, these two are both sufficiently complete and clear:

Tannehill, Anderson, Pletcher: Computational Fluid Mechanics and Heat Transfer
Hirsch: Numerical Computation of Internal and External Flows
