Hello,
I am looking for recommendations for a good CFD software package that would be good for learning the subject. I intend to use the code for personal mechanical hobby design purposes, but I am a mechanical engineering graduate and have industry experience with Ansys and have begun studying the subject to make use of it for personal purposes. I have been looking at OpenFOAM but I am becoming intimidated by the raw nature of it. Ideally, this would be some sort of trial version, or 'free' or 'student' version with decent functionality I could use for learning and some small hobby design projects. Any suggestions would be much appreciated! steve |
