Some time ago I used this: http://cherrypit.princeton.edu/Packing/C++/ . It works fine and it is *not* DEM simulation.
Another package I know (but didn't use yet) is PathFinder: http://www.uwm.edu.pl/pathfinder/version/GB/project.php |

Dear All,
I have to obtain flow through a randomly packed bed of uniform spheres placed in a cylinder. In this regard i need to obtain the coordinates of the spheres for geometry generation. Later would be meshing the geometry of packed bed in GAMBIT/FLUENT. Solver would be FLUENT. Kindly help me out. |
