I generated the mesh of a 1-dimensional flow (-z direction) lance which is compounded to a completed meshed duct running industrial boiler flue gas. I want to simulate a time-dependent compressible turbulent flow of the gas passing through the duct and a lagrangian dispersed solid particles flow passing through the lance into the duct to eventually mix the 2 flows together. After meshing the generated geometry in the Salome, how can I run the algorithms using openfoam. In other words, which solver code should we use to input the parameters of the differential equations and the multiphase flow boundary conditions in order to simulate a multiphase flow model.
I am looking to use Lagragian Particle Tracking Method and Turbulence Flow Model (SimpleFoam) algorithms together. What are the proper files and folders to work with? Can you email me a layout or a tree structure that would explain to me how to couple both algorithms to run in openfoam? |
