Experimental results for several systematic hull series such as NPL and Series
64 have been available for many years. In addition, there are many measurements of catamarans using the NPL series hulls. I have been unable to find many CFD calculations for the resistance, sinkage and trim, and wave patterns for these commonly used hulls. Does anyone know of any recent work using OpenFOAM, Fluent, CFX etc for these hull series? |
