I'm looking for entry-level jobs in CFD in Canada and Europe.
I've come across such companies as Newmerical and Maya HTT in Canada, and the big ones, CD-Adapco, Numeca in Europe. Anybody know of any others? And specifically, any that hire entry levels and not someone with 5 or 10 years with CFD experience? |

Do you want to work in CFD code development, or in consultancy? If you want to work for a code manufacturer then you have Fluent, CD Adapco and Ansys in the UK. However, if you want to work in CFD consultancy then most of the major uk consultancys such as Arup, Burro Happold will have a fluids team and generally take a large graduate input each year. There are also small more specialised consultancys in the UK which also hire people to work in CFD. You will also find work in the aviation industry, the process and oil industry, the possibilities are endless.
Hope this helps, Ruth |
