cavitation in Cosmosfloworks

Hi
I'm solving a customer's cavitation problem during silver(Ag)coating process on lead frame. There are some air bubbles on the coating so I want to simulate the process in Cosmosfloworks but this software only supports water for cavitation problem. If I'm not wrong, cavitation or forming of air bubbles occurs when static pressure is lower than the vaporization pressure. Instead of doing cavitation simulation, can I just do the normal flow simulation around the lead frame surface and determine the location of the static pressure that causes air bubble? Will this method simulate the actual conditions? Thanks in advance for any comments |
