Dear all,
this might be a very simple question to answer, but I didn’t find anything on that topic when searching this forum: Is there any good reason to have more than one prism layer added when using wall functions with the turbulence model (k-omega-SST in OpenFOAM in my case), assuming that the grid in general is sufficiently fine that the cell aspect ratio between prism layer and hex mesh is ok? Thanks in advance, Matthias |
