Reference pressure

Help,

Im coding a SIMPLE algorithm and I want to specify a reference value for the pressure correction (like Versteeg suggests).

In the book it says to select a point outside the solution grid, but my question is this, since the point is outside the grid, then you dont have a value of "d" (Area/ap).

How do you select this value, do you use one from the neighbours?
