Simple interpolation --> Constant interpolation or linear interpolation. See Fedkiw's papers.

Which Fedkiw's paper does explain these boundary conditions?

How can I use simple or constant interpolation for

boundary conditions of level set equation?

what about periodic or extrapolating boundary condition?

thanks.

I red this paper, but I donot know, what boundary condition can I use for edges of my computational grids? this paper has used ghost fluid method for zero level set funtion, not for edges of computational grids. what can I do?

thanks

Hi,

I am also using level set evolution to track moving interfaces. I am using one sided higher order differences to discretise derivative of \phi. Though, I am able to capture the interface at later times but there are garbage values at boundaries. Could anybody suggest how to discretise the gradient of \phi at the boundaries.

Thanks

The boundary condition is a Dirichlet BC at the inlets where the value of the LS is to be constant. That should solve the problem.
Dont remember the exact paper where its written.
