Hello
Can anyone suggest an experimental paper on turbulent boundary layer over flat plate. I have a small assignment to simulate this flow and I need an experimental paper to validate my answer. If someone could send or suggest a paper it would be great. Thanks Sid |

Please refer to the following book "Proceedings computation turbulent boundary layers-1968 AFOSR-IFP-Stanford conference" vol. II, D. E. Coles and E. A. Hirst. It is very useful and contains many bench mark problem including turbulent flat plate boundary layer

Just remember that D. E. Coles massaged that (1968) data a lot. His estimates of the log-law constants are therefore very dubious.
