Hello. I'm currently working on just simple laminar pipe flow.

And I'm trying to apply outside force on my pipe and see how it affects the behavior of the fluid flow inside of pipe.

Does anyone know how I can apply some sort of vibration force at the outer wall of the pipe? or at least just simple force?

Please help me out.

vibration could be simulated by setting a proper oscillating normal velocity with averaged zero-mass flux

Thanks for the help! But I still have some more question about it.

I'm using Ansys fluent for the program mow. Do you think it's still possible to make normal force in fluent? if so, do I set the oscillating normal velocity at the boundary condition? Or do I need some kind of UDF?

Or do I need other program in Ansys to complete my work?

I'm not just looking for the deformation of the geometry. The main thing that I'm looking for is change in velocity and strain rate when I apply outside force.

Please let me know.

Thanks,
