Hi
Please somebody tell me what is exactly the differences between an open TE vs. closed TE? I mean which one will lead to better results.
I am going to model airfoil with moving mesh.

what do you mean, 'yield better results'? airfoils are either designed with a blunt TE or a sharp TE.

I wouldn't truncate an airfoil to get a blunt TE if it has sharp TE based on coordinate data then try to compare it to experimental results.
