Hi everybody.
I am now simulating a heterogeneous combustion reaction in Fluent, e.g., C<s>+O2<g> = CO2 <g>. According to the Fluent Theory Guide, the net enthalpy of the reactants “gets distributed to the products in the ratio of their mass production rates”, this means the heat released due to the reaction will totally go to the gas phase because only gaseous product exists here. My question is, is there any way to stipulate that the reaction heat firstly goes to the solid phase?

BEST REGARDS.
QUENTIN.
