Ahmed Body low drag vs high drag 30 deg difference?

In the original Ahmed Body experiment "Salient features of Ahmed Body" there are two drag coefficient values for the 30 degrees configuration as stated in the paper:

What is the difference between low drag and high drag in this study? Why is it that the low drag value is used in most validation studies? Your help is much appreciated.
