Hi
i want to model an airfoil 2d at stall region and calculate the CL. which turbulence model will be better to us LES or DES?
(in other word what are the application of these two models in engineering?)
Thanks

LES and DES are not tubulence model but formulations ... you cannot run LES in 2D.

why LES doesnt work in 2d?it means that wrong data will be produced? but
in fluent software you can activate LES in 2d mode by entering a code. so what that means?
Thanks
