Real gas model for refrigeration compression?

Bdew8556 Senior Member Brett Join Date: May 2013 Posts: 212 Rep Power: 13	Hey all. I'm simulating the compression of R134a through a centrifugal compressor. Previously I was using an ideal gas model and getting efficiencies greater than 1. I've now switched to the Peng Robinson Real gas model but some of the simulations are still showing efficiencies greater than 1. Does anyone have any thoughts on this issue? is another real gas model better in anyone's experience? Brett
