Dear everyone.

I want to create a geometric city model for researching the wind flow.
But I don't know which software can be used to achieve it . I have the .wrl file of the city model from the software Sketchup.
dose anyone know how to transform it to pointwise or some more reasonable software?
I have heard the city 3d information can be acquired by GIS . If anyone can help me about the procedure of getting the city model to creating gird . I will be very grateful.
