Meshing Size Determination Factors

Sir, what are the factors to be considered while selecting meshing size.
I want to do meshing of bus & there are total 222 elements in it, so what is the meshing size to be selected for it.

What is meant by 222 element. For maximun size we take length of our characteristics feature while for minimum mesh size we try to capture geometric feature accurately. Again if we see our mesh in proximate surfaces to see if there are sufficient finite volume element to solve the equation. It is a whole iterative process instead.
