Benchmark Problems to test a new scheme for Convection-diffusion equation

Dear All,

Using local radial basis functions in finite difference mode, I have developed an upwinded scheme for convection-diffusion problems. I have tested it by solving few problems. Now I need to know which benchmark problems should I solve for 1D and 2D cases to validate/verify that my scheme gives stabilized results.

The problems I have solved are shown in attached figure.

There are many standard test-case for testing the schemes, you can find them in the CFD textbooks. Of course, the first thing is to testing the resulting accuracy order on an exact solution and checking the error slope.
However, I suggest to consider also the full unsteady case to assess your scheme.
