Hi all,

I am new to Spaceclaim. I was quite good with the design modeler.
I cannot add multiple bodies into spaceclaim. I could easily do it in design modeler using add frozen option. Everytime I open an object in spaceclaim, it opens it as a separate object.
Sorry if the question sounds a bit primitive. But I searched and could not find anything.
Hoe can I fix it?

Thanks,

let's assume that I want to have multiple domains and I have a separate geometry for each one. How do I import them into Spaceclaim. I used to be able to easily do it in the design modeler using "import geometry" and "add frozen option"

hi,
you mean you have multiple parts/geometry file in your assembly right?
1.try to assemble in cad software such as solid works or solid edge etc...
2. save a file format to (STEP or para-solid xt or igs )
3. then import into spaceclaim
4. if you dont have assembly file (with all seperate parts) you need to combine in spaceclaim

Thanks...

Maybe you can find the answer her:

look at Step 5 - Prevent multi-body parts in ANSYS-Workbench

In my SpaceClaim-Testcase it works fine.
