jmex is on a distinguished road
Hello everyone,

I have taken up a course of Masters and I have to choose a topic for final year thesis (which will start after a month). I have gone through intern section where I have applied in few as well (so far no reply).
I have a keen interest in CFD, and everyday I learn something new from this website whenever I visit.
Since last week I have started learning python for coding, as I see it is in demand and meanwhile got to learn about palabos and Lattice Boltzmann method. I see there are many different methods that researcher are working on to find a solution to behavior of fluid.

Can someone help me with what present researcher is preferring for analysis? So many methods for so many problems I believe. I mean which method has been made benchmark for problems and which area is yet to explore and to be work on.
I know there is so much to explore for me but I am at present curious to know where we are in CFD.

Thanks,

Just go to a journal in your discipline and see read the titles of the latest issue. Maybe start with the most prestigious journal you can find and/or with the highest impact factor.
