Nonlinear turbulence models

Is there anyone who has experiences in using Gatski-Speziale non-linear turbulence model? I am just writing a routine for test. The test problem is chanel flow with Re=2e4 based on the width. I find that the result of GS model is too bad when compared with other low-Re models. Although the authors argued that this model can be integrated directly to sublayer region and the wall, it works very poor near the wall and even in the log-law region. I wonder whether my conclusion is right or wrong. Can you recommend any low-Re non-linear model which works in low-Re flow?
Thanx in advance Lei |
