Mohamed Khaled is on a distinguished road
Howdy;

Currently i am using Herschel Bulkley model in Fluent. One of the parameters required is the fluid critical shear rate; I do not know how this parameter can be computed. All experimental data reported in the literature that i have using Herschel Bulkley model is reporting n, k and tau and there is no mentioning of fluid critical shear rate value.

Kindly i am asking how can i calculate this value or if there is a certain range i should work within.

Note: I am working on Viscous non-Newtonian flow in a horizontal pipe with n=0.85, k=0.0751 pa.sec and tau=7.9 pascal

Thanks in advance;

MS
