AGAAMAZ is on a distinguished road
hi , iam solving 1-d steady state problem with radiation and convection on one side and constant temp. on the other side
iam writing a fortran code but i have a problem in the term of T^4 -the initial temp of the plate-
any help please or any useful ref.
thanks in advance

Maybe give more details... what method are you using? What problem are you having?

AGAAMAZ is on a distinguished road
a vertical metal plate exposed to fire
i supposed that Q transfered by convection and radiation to the plate
i am using finite difference method

So, we are talking about 1d steady conduction (normal to the plate) with dirichlet bc on one side and convection + radiation bc on the other one, solved with finite difference. Ok

What is the problem that you have with the T^4 term?
