From the given image that I have sent,

Suppose B = mv

C.V is under ABCD

At time (t + dt),
B(cv) = mass under c.v gives momentum mv
B(sys) = mass under c.v moves away c.v gives momentum (mv)1

Is my difference between the two is right?

please point out me where I am wrong
