MA22 is on a distinguished road
Hello everyone,

I am an MSc Aerodynamics and Computation student at the University of Southampton, UK.
Although we don't get to chose our projects until Christmas, I have already started looking for potential ideas to plan ahead.

I am very keen on CFD and have a few years of experience in programming (C, Fortran, Python), CAD, etc.

Topics I am mostly interested in:

- External Aerodynamics (especially compressible flows)
- Workflow automation in aerodynamics design
- CAD, parametrized geometry models for aircraft/missiles and so forth
- CFD simulations and code implementation (I use SU2, mostly)

I thought about implementing an FVM Euler code on cartesian grids (with embedded CAD facilities) at a conceptual/preliminary design stages - what do you think?

It would be very interesting to hear your thoughts and ideas, appropriate for my level of study.

Thank you for your time,

Miguel
