Hello,
I am working on modeling the electrostatic painting process of automotive components in Star-CCM+. So far, I was able to set up a model with the electrostatic field, eulerian phase (air), as well as particle injections (paint). However, I am having a hard time measuring the paint thickness on the target surface. I tried adding the Fluid-Film model too, but that model is not compatible with the Electrostatic Potential model, which is required to add charge to the particles. Has anyone here modeled this before? I would appreciate the help/insights! |
