This problem will solve for the flow over the expansion corner (Prandtl-Meyer expansion wave) with conditions:
- Freestream Pressure: P0 = 100000Pa - Freestream Temperature: T0 = 286K - Velocity: U0 = 100m/s - Wedge angle: alpha = 5.325^o The configuration of the wedge shows as below. Do the simulation of inviscid flow using the sample code based on explicit Maccormack’s technique: Problem 1. Generate the structure grid (100 x 30), with the grid point distribution as shown in figure? What does the method you use? Explain the grid behavior in order to have the reasonable accurate? Problem 2. Do the simulation: - Explain the boundary condition? - Is the artificial viscosity applied? Why? - Plot data of Mach number, pressure, density, velocity? Compare with the analysis data? Hello, i have a midterm test with cfd and i have some problems. So i need help. I solved problem 1. And i can't explain question 2 in Problem 2 |
