Hi guys,
I'm trying to simulation NACA64005 But the trailing edge of airfoil is so small(just 0.0007mm at c=75mm). It makes mesh too bad. I don't know how to connect it and still remains the characteristic of the airfoil. So, how to drawn the trailing edge of this airfoil. Does anyone know about the formulation to trailing edge of naca airfoil ? Thanks all. |

If the blunt part of the trailing edge is this tiny compated to the overall size of the airfoil, you won't change any flow characteristics by just making the trailing edge sharp.
Even if that should have any impact on the flow, it is smaller than the impact from a suboptimal mesh in that region. |

A blunt trailing edge should be formed by 2 points in the airfoil profile. Omitting either of them should turn the trailing edge sharp. Feel free to share some images to confirm.
