Hello,
I want to learn Heat Transfer Simulation in OpenFoam. So what is the advice and from where should i start? plus I'm not so strong in Thermodynamic |

I assume that you want to know the heat transfer form some kind of boundary layer.
I recommend simulating only the fluid stream. From this you get the local thickness of the Prandtl layer at the boundary. From this you may calculate the Nernst layer which is connected to the local heat transfer rate. You may compere your results with the ones which the Nußelt number give. And you will find how hard is is to get the thin Prandl layer at regions with high stream velocity.

Start with the heat transfer solver which suits your need. You can start with the tutorials pertaining to that solver. |
