Hello Everyone

I am running a simulation where the inlet region is a rectangular and I would like to know if I can have the inlet flow direction to vary along the height of the rectangular. More specifically the bottom side of the rectangular should have a flow angle of 60 degrees while the top side 50 degrees. The flow angle should change gradually from 60 and reaching the top with 50 degrees. Can someone give me some advice on how I can perform such a condition ?

Thank you !!

If you make the inlet form different blocks you have several inlet faces. Every of them may have another b.c.
That is the simplest way.

Also depends what software you are using...

How about a .csv table of x,y,z components at different positions that you generate beforehand, load this into whatever software you are using, and use that as the BC?

Or directly program the functional relationship and use that.
