My computer has AMD ryzen 5950x processor and 64Gb ram. I also have an AMD Radeon RX 580 2048SP graphics card.

My 2d fluent analyzes are running smoothly.

In 3d analysis work, there is no problem in creating a large number of mesh structures, there is no problem in initializing and other operations. but before the first iteration fluent closes itself. I also used the student license, I used the company license, in the same way, it waits 30 minutes without the first iteration, and then the fluent closes. do you have an opinion on this? I am trying to do compressible gas analysis.

How many cells are we talking about here? Any error messages from log files?

Thank you for reply,

Mesh method is Multizone,
It has inflation , option is "First Layer Thickness, Layer Height : 0,003mm, maximum layers :15
Edge sizing type is "element type, size : 1mm"
Mesh max. face size is 3mm,

nodes: 27486257
elements : 26790500

Error [node 999999] [time 7/18/21 13:18:46] Abnormal Exit!

26 million cells in Fluent can be too much for 64GB of RAM, depending on solver settings.
Check if your mesh is valid before trying to run the simulation. Then use a coarser mesh in the 10 million cell range.
If that still doesn't run, the problem must be something else. Incompatible solver settings, broken Fluent installation, hardware problems...

yes, as you said, when you brought the mesh element number to around 3-4m, the analysis worked.

This time, I had problems with the mesh quality settings. The aspect ratio is too high.
skewness and orthogonal quality are at an appropriate level.

note: when I do ansys benchmark on my computer, the analysis times are taking longer than normal. When I installed AMD's drivers and adjusted their settings, Fluent started to work more stable.
