Hello,
I have Q criterion to find for my RANS simulation, and I would like to use a method that does not require coding as I do not know how to do coding, how can I use paraview to do the Q criterion? It shows 0 for my simulation. Thanks Rabia |

You can use the "gradient of unstructured dataset" filter in Paraview. It can compute the Q-criterion from the velocity vector field.

You could alos use Tecplot: https://www.tecplot.com/2017/05/15/c...n-tecplot-360/ However, be aware that from a RANS solution you can extract nothing but the main statistical flow structure. |

It does not appear for my simulation, there is only gradient and no gradient of unstructured dataset.

Okay i will try that however is there a quick code to extract the number of particles in my simulation, I am also having issues with the number of particles in my simulation, and I cannot extract the exact number of particles to plot them against time.
