Dear Community,

I am working on simulation of boiling heat transfer. The two phases (Liquid and Vapor) are tracked using a level set method. At the top of the domain, I am using an outflow boundary condition [setting the reference pressure as 0 and gradient of other quantities (u, v, w, T) to be 0]. With this boundary condition, I can observe a reverse flow of liquid at the top of the boundary when the vapor leaves the domain.

I would like to know if this is normal or is there any better way to treat an outflow boundary in case of two phase simulations.

Thank you,
