Hi everyone,

I am actually using CFX as a solver but the paper that I referenced uses CFD-ACE+ as the solver, so I have no knowledge about the settings in ACE. I just wanted to know for two-fluid model, if I set dynamic viscosity for one fluid(1) lying in the domain and introduce another fluid(2) into the domain with user function viscosity, will fluid 1 viscosity change over or will it remain the same value throughout? Or are there some kind of function for it to vary with time? If you have some kind of documentation for theory on ACE solver, please do share the links. Thank you very much.

Hello,

It is possible that the parameters and behaviour differ from those you are familiar with in CFX. As far as the two-fluid model and dynamic viscosity are concerned, it is best to consult the documentation specific to CFD-ACE+ for precise information on how viscosities behave in this context.

You have not said what the fluid is!
