wave from body passing through slit

Hi
I am trying to examine the wave emitted when a moving body, which displacing the fluid around it, passes through a slit. The body could be a ship moving in shallow water. The Mach number is small, i.e. the ship is slower than a (long) wave, there is no dispersion and the problem is 2D. Does anyone know of analytical solutions to this problem that can be used to validate a numerical solution? |
