Iam a graduate student at oregon state university. Iam doing some research on the surface deformation when a molten alumina surface is impinged by an alumina droplet. Initially i have started with a water model (water droplet falling in water). I have modeled the system as multiphase lagrangian with free surface. But in my model I dont see any ripples, which is the expected deformation of the free surface (water). It would of great help for me if somebody have done similar work in droplet and free surface.

I am doing that one in 2D now, and I will extend it in 3D soon.
So, can you make a mpeg file, and send it to me, then I will send my own to you. Kim |

Tell me ALOT more about your model...The more details you give the more someone can help.
