Hi
I am new in CFD. Actually I am doing a course in turbulence, and have some doubts. If I have a channell of water, 0.1 deep, 0.5 wide, length 1 m, flux mean velocity 0.1 m/sec. How must be the spacial and the time discretization? In the boundary, which is the minumun size of the elements? Thanks for your help |

which method do you use to simulate the turbulent flow in the channel.
DNS(direct numerical simulation ) or RANS( Reynolds averaged N-S equations). |
