stability and accuracy -- CFD Online Discussion Forums

rvndr Guest Posts: n/a	Hi I am beginner and solving simple second order Heat conduction equation using FTCS and CN method. When can I say, the solution is both stable and accurate, only stable ,and only accureate ? What is the relation between stability and accuracy ? Thanks in advance regards ravi
