Hello
It is about installing the Abaqus software. I am having problems with installing the license server for Abaqus. I cannot proceed installing the software itself before I can install the FlexLm license server. I am installing it on a single machine for myself and am not able to proceed with the necessary intrsuctions given. Can anyone help? Thanks. Jas |

You'll have to give some more information. What error(s) are you encountering? What platform are you trying to install on?
If you want to install the software without the license check, enter "abaqusfea" in the license server field. It will bypass the license check. You will still need to have a valid license to use the software. Once you have the license server installed, you will have to edit a file called abaqus_v6.env in the ...\SIMULIA\Abaqus\6.X-x\site directory. In it, there is a variables named "abaquslm_license_file". Change its value to "@licenseservername". |

Thanks for the help. I have been able to get it to work. It was a silly mistake in the license file.. I have got it working now.
