Hi I'm a very new to CDF in fact I'm still a student but I've been asked by my Prof to write an essay on the latest CFD developments in Combustion. He very much looks down at commercial code, could any one point me in the right direction for an overview of the current situation.

Thank Glen

Hi,

You can find a couple of good review articles in: Prog. Energy and Combustion Science, for instance, Vol. 30 (2004) Hilbert et al., pp. 61-117. Vol. 28 (2002) Veynante et al., pp. 193-266. Vol. 26 (2000) Bilger, pp. 367-380.

It is not an easy task to present a good overview. There are so many developments and different modelling approaches.

Success,

Tom

Dear collegues

I would be very pleased, if I could get copy But, please sent, if it's possible - by parts, it's very difficult to get big Emails, and also - please change extention to .txt - sometimes my OE removes access to attachments

Sorry to act silly but... There seems to be a lot of people interested in this report - how about you just put the jolly thing of the web where it can be searched for and downloaded (provided there are no copyright problems)
