Hi,
Im running a fairly streamlined body in starccm. I have acheived a y+ in the appropriate range of 30-100 with a near wall cell size of 2-3mm. I want to know with this cell size wether i am adequetly capturing the amount of skin friction. I am getting between 0.0034 and 0.004 as the skin friction coefficent. Will this y+ range have good enough accuracy for this application? I would like y+<1 but i can only get it on some parts of the body due to the complicated geometry. |
