Hi, 1. I am doing the Validation of RAE 2822. Scheme is 1st order van leer flux vector splitting. Finite volume method. While doing euler solution, if i use fine grid (355x170), spikes appear from the first iterations on the body surface (having v high gradients of t and rho). This leads to divergence. But solution goes okay with (129x100). Do i need reconstruction of each primitive variable? 2. My mach no does not go beyond 1.20 against the validation 1.28. (Validation case 9, Cook ). Is it because of 1st order? Any suggestion/comment is welcome Thanks NIDi
