I am doing simulation using Kiva3v2 under RH Linux 9.0, when nv (in comkiva.i, number of vertices in simualtion) is defined a bit large, such as 1000000, the message printed in the screen is " segment error", What can I do ??? Help needed!
Thanks in advance |

dear Z.
I am doing some simulation for Ch4+air combustion using kiva, and in our computation domain, there is a shockwave in the downstream, formed by the hot gases and a compression, and we know that in Kiva3v, ALE + quasi-second order difference scheme is used, and it has a very low resolution for shockwaves, so we think some modifications should be done to it, perhaps other difference scheme is better, and from an ETD dissertation, I know some one has combined the central difference and quasi-2nd difference scheme to get a higher order scheme, but I can not get this dissertation, another aspect, I am not familiar with all the subroutines ji Kiva, so at present, the only way is to ask for help on Intrernet, Can you help me on this area, and do you have explanations to the subroutines in Kiva, Help needed very much!!! Plaese mail to me , and I am glad to be in touch with you by email directly. Thanks in advance |
